Project works in compliance to architectural-planning tasks are approved by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Construction-fitting and facing works were performed by LLC “MRSU-1”.
Planning and construction of the building complex was carried out in accordance to the city construction regulations and development plans of Colombo for a seamless blend with the surrounding buildings.
The following were constructed on the complex configuration and engineering-geological sector:
- service-representative building with consular department rooms and a residential block for 12 rooms;
- residential house with 24 apartments and cultural-domestic rooms;
- primary school building with a gym and swimming pool;
- consular residence building with a swimming pool;
- engineering-domestic block;
-on-duty commandant post with auxiliary rooms;
-main entrance with a fenced territory;
- site landscaping with shrubs and trees, disposition of lawns and flower beds, as well as establishment of playgrounds for children
- equipped with a roofed parking lot.
Taking into account the complex engineering-geological conditions of the region, all the building foundations were performed using monolithic reinforced concrete up to 400mm thick over the field of bored piles 500mm in diameter and 16-20 meters long.
The above-ground part is designed within a monolithic reinforced concrete frame with enclosing foam block walls, and full-brick and thin foam block inner walls.
The external and internal decoration of buildings is made using high-quality building materials: marble, granite, ceramic granite, decorative plaster, tinted glass.
The interiors of representative and other rooms are fitted using furniture and lighting, as well as decorations, matching the initiral designs.
